Our faculty

The faculty was newly founded in 1994 and bundles a variety of subjects from the historical sciences as well as art and area studies in 13 institutes.

The Faculty of History, Art and Area Studies offers a wide range of courses and is represented in all the important research areas of the University of Leipzig. It provides important impulses for the city and the region.
