The faculty was newly founded in 1994 and bundles a variety of subjects from the historical sciences as well as art and area studies in 13 institutes.

Our faculty

As a large faculty at the University of Leipzig, we offer a wide range of study courses and are represented in all important research areas. The faculty provides important impulses for the city and region.
