Profile
Abstract
I am a research assistant at the Institute of Ancient History and currently working on the project “(Ir)reproducibility of Scientific Research in the Digital Humanities?”. I also work as co-editor of Digital Classics Online.
Previously, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Greek-Latin Philology at the University of Leipzig, where I was also able to devote myself to the study of philosophy. Through the subsequent interdisciplinary Master's program “Classical Antiquity, History and Literature”, I also gained access to Ancient History, where I wrote my doctoral thesis on Plutarch's small moral treatise “Animine an corporis affectiones sint peiores”.
Besides the theory, however, I was always interested in gaining as much practical experience as possible. So I preferred to deal with "analog data media" such as papyri, fragments and manuscripts - but not without dedicating myself to the counterpart, digitalization, especially the eHumanities.
