Impressions of the ERC Study Day “Donizetti in Habsburg Europe”, 31 May – 1 June 2024

From 31 May to 1 June 2024 our ERC-project “Opera and the Politics of Empire in Habsburg Europe" brought together an international panel of speakers to explore Gaetano Donizetti's role in Habsburg Europe.

Hosted by the Bach-Archiv and the GWZ of Leipzig University, the following photographs by Malcolm Johnson capture impressions of the event. Proceedings will be published in a special issue of Donizetti Studies, scheduled for 2025.
