Museum suitcase

IDEAL ASSISTANT FOR PREPARING A MUSEUM VISIT WITH A SCHOOL CLASS

Teachers often have problems finding appropriate materials that they can use to introduce a topic to pupils in a varied way.

Our museum suitcase was created to solve this problem. It is packed with materials on Ancient Egypt that teach different aspects using diverse methodical approaches such as staged play, crafting ideas, riddles or descriptions.

How does the suitcase work?

The museum suitcase is available to all teachers upon request. They can pick it up from the museum and take it to school with them. There it can be used as support while teaching about Ancient Egypt but also as preparation for a visit to the museum.

The contents of the suitcase can be used individually, meaning that either one method, a selection of methods or all of them can be used. The contents are not interdependent.

For which age group is it?

The contents were developed for primary school age children, especially grades 3 and 4, but most of it can also be carried out with younger children or with pupils of grade 5. The suitcase is less suited for older children.

What do you need to use the suitcase?

If you are interested in using the suitcase, please contact us via phone: 0341-9737008 or via e-mail.

The suitcase will be freely available for you after an individual agreement. There is no further preparation necessary. If you intend to use the worksheets that are in the suitcase you will simply have to copy them yourself.

Using the suitcase is completely free of charge. However, we would be happy to welcome you for a visit afterwards.
